Unreleased Bruce Springsteen Songs are coming in August

The Bruce Springsteen-inspired movie “Blinded By The Light” is set to hit theaters on August 14th, and now details of the film’s soundtrack have been revealed.

In addition to Bruce classics like “Badlands,” “Hungry Heart,” “Thunder Road,” “Dancing in the Dark,” “Prove It All Night” and more, the album will feature some unreleased material, including, “I’ll Stand By You,” a song Bruce wrote for the2001 film “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” although it never made it into the movie.

The soundtrack, which drops August 9th, also features two live rarities, Bruce’s first-ever performance of “The River,” at the 1979 No Nukes concert at Madison Square Garden, and a 2014 acoustic version of “The Promised Land,” which The Boss performed on the National Mall in Washington, DC.

The album also features songs by A-Ha, Pet Shop Boys, composer A.R. Rahman and more.
