Prince fans are getting quite a treat this fall. His estate announced that a new reissue of 1987’s “Sign O’ the Times” will drop on September 25th, and it will be quite a doozy.
In addition to the newly remastered album, the Super Deluxe Edition of #PrinceSOTT features over 60 previously unreleased audio tracks and two complete concert recordings, including Prince’s only on-stage collaboration with Miles Davis. pic.twitter.com/HZQhOuZCR7

The new Super Deluxe Edition will feature 45 unreleased studio recordings, and it will be available on eight CDs or 13 LPs. It will feature the original album remastered, as well as three discs of unreleased material from Prince’s vault. There will also be a concert film recorded from New Year’s Eve in 1987, with a Miles Davis cameo in the bundle.
But wait!! There’s more!! In addition to the music, a 120-page hardcover book is added to, with previously unseen handwritten lyrics, and never-before-seen photos, with liner notes from stars like Dave Chappelle, Lenny Kravitz and more.
- For those who don’t want to sell out the almost $300 price tag for the Super Deluxe Edition, the album will be reissued in just a remastered two-LP version on peach-colored vinyl. There will also be a limited-edition seven-inch vinyl box set from Third Man Records. Fans can pre-order the sets here.
