The Super Bowl is this weekend, and while a lot of folks are mostly interested in the game, there are plenty of people who tune in for the commercials, and this year Dolly Parton is responsible for one of them.
The singer has reworked her classic movie theme “9 to 5,” changing it to “5 to 9” for a commercial for Squarespace that celebrates those who have side hustles. While Dolly herself isn’t really in the ad, directed by “La La Land’s” Damien Chazelle, her image does appear on a magazine, and gives a wink to the camera. See the ad at the top.

Dolly was credited by folks on Twitter with helping to find a vaccine for COVID-19 because of her $1-million donation to Nashville’s Vanderbilt hospital, which was part of the Moderna trials. But even though she’s 75 and eligible to get the vaccine she tells the AP she hasn’t gotten it yet. “I’m not going to get mine until some more people get theirs,” she says. “I don’t want it to look like I’m jumping the line just because I donated money,” adding, “I’m very funny about that. I’m going to get mine though, but I’m going to wait.”
