Paul McCartney’s new solo album “McCartney III” was the best-selling album of the week, moving 104,000 units in traditional album sales (although it debuted at two on the “Billboard” 200).
Well, Paul certainly seems to be thrilled to be number one on the Top Album Sales chart. In fact, he shared a video of him – well three of him – dancing with joy; Check it out below:

- Interestingly, the last solo rock album to have a bigger sales week than “McCartney III” was Paul’s last record, “Egypt Station,” which sold 147,000 copies in 2018 to also land at number one on the Top Album Sales chart.
