Paul McCartney fans are going to have to wait a little longer for his new album. The Beatle was set to release his solo record “McCartney III” on December 11th, but he just announced it’s being pushed back to December 18th.
Unforeseeable production delays have forced the release date of Paul's all-new all-Paul album 'McCartney III' to be moved back one week to December 18, 2020. Thank you to everyone for your patience, support and excitement for the album. We can't wait for you to hear it! – MPL

Paul plays all the instruments on “McCartney III,” with the album described as “mostly built from live takes of Paul on vocals and guitar or piano, overdubbing his bass playing, drumming, etc. atop that foundation.”
Meanwhile, some people think there’s a track on “McCartney III” about Paul’s ex-wife Heather Mills. In the song “Lavatory Lil,” Paul sings, “You think she’s being friendly, but she’s looking for a Bentley. She says it’s hunky-dory, when she’s telling you a story.”
