Elton John will release his new box “Elton: Jewel Box” on Friday, featuring 148 songs, including 60 previously unreleased tracks. Well, now he’s giving fans another taste of one of those tracks.

Elton has shared the song, “Watching The Planes Go By,” which was recorded in February 1968, and is one of Elton’s earliest tunes with his longtime collaborator, Bernie Taupin.

The song was originally recorded for Elton’s debut album “Regimental Sgt Zippo.” Check it out above.
