Bob Dylan’s Whiskey Distillery is set to open!

Last year, we reported that Bob Dylan’s new whiskey brand is taking over an 140-year-old church in Nashville to open a distillery, performance and art space. Now, Heaven’s Door Distillery has an opening date.

The opening of the space in Nashville’s SoBro area marks the 50th anniversary of Dylan’s 1969 album “Nashville Skyline.” Heaven’s Door Distillery and Center for the Arts opens its doors in Fall 2020. The renovated church will feature the craft distillery, a 360-seat performance venue, a whiskey library, a restaurant, some of Dylan’s paintings and sculptures, and will offer guided tours.

“We’re thrilled to celebrate the anniversary of ‘Nashville Skyline’ with our own addition to Music City’s skyline,” writes Heaven’s Door CEO Marc Bushala in a statement. “Nashville is the natural home for the Heaven’s Door distillery and the Elm Street Church is a fitting home for Dylan’s visual artwork.”
